Posting

Posting is free. Sign in with your email, choose a city and a category, add photos and a price. A reviewer reads it before it appears — usually within a few hours.

What we don't allow

• Weapons, ammunition, alcohol, tobacco, cannabis, prescription drugs
• Counterfeits and replicas
• Dogs, cats and rabbits offered for sale — California law allows rehoming with an adoption fee only
• Used car seats and recalled child products
• Housing or job ads with discriminatory language, and job ads without a pay range

Staying safe

• Meet in a public place in daylight. Many police stations have exchange zones.
• Cash or an instant transfer you control. Never a gift card, never a wire.
• Nobody legitimate needs a code from your phone to buy your sofa.
